Clyde Wray

Clyde_WrayClyde A. Wray is the author of four books of poetry. His last book, Bridges We Can Walk Across was published here in Saint John by Dreamcatcher Publishing.

Originally from New York City, Clyde moved to the Maritimes Halifax N.S. from Los Angeles, California. He studied at literature, writing and acting at American University in Washington D.C. He is a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centre,out of Glynco Ga.

Clyde has had a number of careers, and a wealth of experience, has traveled extensively in the United States, Europe and Asia with two notable stops in Vietnam. Clyde was the host of his own radio program Mood Swings with Word and Music here in Saint John at Legends 103 radio and was the Poet-In-Residence at the New Brunswick Museum. Clyde the producer, performer, director, and playwright has as he has said ” been very fortunate” to have be able to produce, perform, write and direct a number of productions here in Saint John. He has as he says ” had the wonderful opportunity to tour and perform with singer, songwriter Debbie Adshade over the two previous summers.”

At present Clyde is involved in two major projects.

The Wind which again he is the producer, writer and director and a off stage performer. This production with its superb cast of dancers and musicians is due to go up at the Imperial Theater November 6, 2013.

The other production Tell In On The Mountain which has a start and end date of December 26, 2013 thru December 31, 2013 is at Alderney Landing in Halifax, N.S.

Clyde is married to Kelli L. Wray ( a dancer in her own right ) and together they have three children. Astrid Emmerald, Shasta Mia and Nikolai Ashlin all of whom he says find joy in the creative arts.
